We focus on three key areas to deliver our programmes:
Prevention
We are committed to preventing blindness and eye disease in rural communities worldwide. Our efforts include establishing primary ophthalmology care centres and conducting school screenings to identify and address vision issues early.
Treatment
We address barriers such as cost and accessibility through outreach and specialised programmes, and the establishment of eye hospitals. Our treatment efforts ensure that people from all socio-economic backgrounds receive the quality eye care needed to restore vision.
Empowerment
We are dedicated to empowering communities worldwide through the establishment of training colleges and by enhancing workforce skills in our eye hospitals. We also promote local autonomy via governance policies, allowing communities to independently manage their eye health services.
