Volunteer

You're the champion behind the fight

The real heroes

We place a great deal of importance on the contributions volunteers make. Al Basar is made up of people like you who are willing to dedicate their time and energy to helping others.

With the support of our volunteers, we’ve made a huge impact on the lives of millions of people suffering from treatable vision impairment and sight loss.

We can’t do it without you. We need your help.

The different ways you can volunteer

Events

We host everything from exhibition stalls to charity runs, and we need your help to make these events a success. You might be involved with the planning and organising, or you might be an extra pair of hands on the day of the event.

Fundraising

We choose to keep our expenses small so the money we raise can go straight to our beneficiaries. Our small fundraising team is vital to our success. They run several events every year – why not give them a hand?

Skills

We value your skills. Be it social media, photography, graphic design or project management. If you think you can help and be part of our team, let us know.

Ambassador

We’re grateful to the many artists, influencers and celebrities who support our mission. If you have a platform, become an ambassador. Be the voice for millions of people who can’t speak up for themselves.
