Dates and Duration

From May 6 to May 12, 2024, the IEF’s medical team worked tirelessly to provide essential eye care services to the local community in Candiaro.

Patient Care

4,500 patients benefited from the campaign, receiving free medical consultations and treatments. The dedicated doctors addressed a wide range of eye-related concerns, ensuring personalized care for each individual.

Surgeries

The campaign witnessed 403 cataract removal surgeries and lens implantations. These procedures utilized cutting-edge eye surgery techniques, restoring vision and transforming lives.

Eyewear Distribution

Recognizing the importance of eye protection, the campaign distributed 950 sunglasses and prescription glasses. These simple yet impactful accessories enhance visual comfort and safeguard against harmful UV rays.

A Collective Effort

The Candiaro campaign represents the eighth collaborative effort between the International Eye Foundation and the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid in Pakistan during 2024. Together, they continue to illuminate lives and pave the way for a brighter future.
